'The Walking Dead' season 8 episode 5 spoilers, plot news: Saviors search for the traitor

In the next episode of "The Walking Dead," the Saviors hold a meeting to find out who helped Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his people attack the Sanctuary and its outposts.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Big Scary U" was just recently released and showed one of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) commanders holding a meeting with a group of henchmen. Among them are Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) who is scared and has his head down on the table. "Someone in here made everything out there happen," the commander tells the group. Dwight tries to appear normal, knowing that he was the one who leaked important information to Grimes's crew. Simon (Steven Ogg) enters the room and surveys the group menacingly. He stoops behind one of the men and stares at the side of his face.

They are determined to weed out the person who betrayed Negan. A lot of Saviors died at the hands of the Alexandrians, Hilltoppers, and Kingdommers. Dwight sees the opportunity to make them retreat and lead the people to safety. "If you can't lead the Saviors out of here, I will," he says to Simon. The Sanctuary is surrounded by zombies on all sides and they need to decide whether to retreat or not. It remains to be seen if Simon and his group will be able to figure out that Dwight is the traitor.

In the last episode, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) managed to survive the gunfire when his followers protected him with their bodies. Later, Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) saved him from a horde of oncoming zombies by gunning them down. She brought the injured leader back to the Kingdom eventually.

"The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 5 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 10 p.m. EST on AMC.
