Fans of "The Walking Dead" are still trying to figure out this season's biggest question—is Glenn really dead? Although actor Steven Yeun's name disappeared from the opening credits, the character's fate has not been addressed onscreen, and last Sunday's episode focused mostly on Morgan. But the show might just have a new cast member as reports claim that Garret Dillahunt may have gotten the role of Negan.

According to Cinemablend, AMC has not released any casting news, but there are a few things which seem to hint at Dillahunt's casting. The website says that the first was a casting notice released by The Spoiling Dead Facebook page. The part of "Orin" is described as someone who is in his 30s to mid 40s, "physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening...a brilliant strategist" and "has a temper that can vaporize people."

In the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Negan is the leader of a group of over 50 survivors in Washington, DC called the Saviors. He is described as being brutal, foul-mouthed, and with an odd sense of humor. He also carries a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire he named Lucille. In the comics, it is Negan who kills Glenn after Rick and his group were ambushed by the Saviors and were forced to obey Negan's rules and orders.

Cinemablend reports that on Tuesday, Nov.3, Dillahunt tweeted a picture of "The Walking Dead Compendium 3," which clearly shows Negan on the comic book cover along with Rick and the others. The actor captioned the post, "Reading material for the day: @TheWalking Dead. Just cause."

AMC then responded and thanked Dillahunt and said that they are big fans of the actor. Soon after, "The Walking Dead" castmembers Alanna Masterson and John Carroll Lynch reportedly started following the actor on the microblogging site, as well as show runner Scott Gimple.

At this point it is not confirmed whether the "Deadwood" star has indeed been cast on the AMC show, but it is believed that Negan will make his debut in season 7 of "The Walking Dead"
