"The Voice" heads into the semifinals this week, and the remaining 9 contestants are gearing up to sing for a place in the finals as they hope to impress voters and coaches Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams.

Last week, Korin Bukowski ended up in the bottom two along with Team Gwen teammate Braiden Sunshine, but in the end, Korin was eliminated after she forgot the lyrics to Colbie Caillat's "Try," and Braiden was given a spot in the semifinals.

Here are the top 9 contestants who will be competing on Monday and Tuesday this week in the semifinals of "The Voice":

Team Gwen

Braiden Sunshine - The 15-year-old is the youngest person on the show this season. The high school freshman from Lyme, Connecticut was in two bands with college-aged members prior to joining the NBC show.

Jeffrey Austin - Jeffrey is from Chicago, Illinois. He works at a public relations firm in New York City but is hoping to do music full-time.

Team Adam

Amy Vachal - Amy's interpretation of "Bye, Bye, Bye" impressed the judges last week, which earned her a spot in the semifinals. She is from Brooklyn, New York.

Jordan Smith - According to NY Daily News, Jordan has consistently placed high in the votes and has been among the top four since America started choosing who moves on in the competition. He is from Harlan, Kentucky.

Shelby Brown - Shelby, who was in the bottom half two weeks in a row, redeemed herself last week with a stellar performance on the show. She started singing when she was 11 years old.

Team Blake

Barrett Baber - Barrett is the oldest among the finalists. He is a father of two and works as a high school teacher of the dramatic arts in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Emily Ann Roberts - Like Jordan, Emily has also consistently garnered most of the fans' votes, and last week, she got the most votes out of all the contestants. Prior to joining "The Voice," Emily performed steadily around Knoxville, playing at a restaurant and even busking on the side.

Zach Seabaugh - Zach's energetic performance last week earned him a spot in the semifinals. He is from Marietta, Georgia and is very involved in sports and only recently started spending time with music and theater.

Team Pharrell

Madi Davis - As the only member of Team Pharrell, Madi has a lot to prove in the semifinals, but she has been performing well in the recent live shows. She was a member of The Children's Choir of Greater Dallas and performed with them all over Paris.

"The Voice" semifinals starts on Monday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
