There's more to achieve in "The Sims 4."

The video game's developer, Maxis, recently released the available achievements for the fourth installment of the life simulation video game series.

A division of Electronic Arts, Maxis announced that there are a total of 50 achievements that can give players 1,000 Gamescore, with five of them being a secret. Achievements in "The Sims 4" are rewards for completing actions inside the game.

Some of the achievements available with high game score are the Alphabet Legacy, which can be unlocked when a gamer plays a household for 26 or more generations. Unlocking the achievement will give them 50 Gamescore. Another is the Over-Achiever, which has the player complete five aspirations. This achievement can give a Gamescore of 40 points.

Two available achievements that can give 30 Gamescore points are the Legacy Player and Secret Achievement. The former can be attained when a player plays a household for ten generations or more. Meanwhile, the latter can be attained by continuously playing and unlocking the other achievements available in the game.

"The Sims" is a single-player game that may be played without having to be constantly connected to the Internet. Players need to have an Origin account and the Internet when they install the game for its activation.

The game has been praised for being intuitive since the beginning. The fourth installment from the franchise is clearly smarter now than before, having managed to incorporate emotions in the game and the ability to multi-task. Other reviews have lauded "The Sims 4" for succeeding in creating a deep and complex game when it comes to Sim interaction, providing a lot of entertaining emotional potential.

Launched in 2014 for Windows PC, "The Sims 4" will debut on consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
