This week on "The Real Housewives of Potomac," Ashley Darby did some online research on the ladies and found out that Robyn Dixon and her husband, Juan Dixon, are declaring bankruptcy. She also found out that Katie Rost used to date Russell Simmons and Ashley was very impressed.
Ashley met up with Katie and her children as the Housewife wanted to know what it's like to have a child. Ashley told Katie that after her Sip with Socialites event, she looked up Gizelle Bryant, Robyn, and her on Google because she felt like she needed to do a background check on the ladies if she was going to be spending a lot of time with them. She said that she found out that Robyn and Juan have $25 in their bank account and are declaring bankruptcy, and she also noted that Katie used to date Simmons.
At Ashley's 27th birthday party, Katie told Robyn about what Ashley said, and Robyn confronted her about the Google search. Ashley apologized and said that it wasn't her intention to hurt her, and Robyn accepted the apology.
On her Bravo blog, Robyn said that the "beef" between her and Ashley has been squashed for now, but she better not do it again.
Robyn said that knowing that Ashley has been talking about her financial situation, she was in no mood to attend her birthday party. She also added that Ashley's explanation for gossiping about her situation made no sense.
"I would have been happy to share my story with her, however I did not walk away from that confrontation feeling that Ashley was truly caring or sympathetic," Robyn explained.
Next week, on the episode titled "Error on the High Seas," Karen Huger gets tired of Ashley's parties so she launches a couples' soiree on a yacht to show Ashley how it's done. Gizelle's newest suitor gets invited to the cruise, while Katie finds herself in hot water after her public display of affection with Andrew at Ashley's party. Meanwhile, Robyn is shocked to hear the news that Charisse Jackson Jordan's marriage has reached a point of no return.
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
