Shannon and David Beador are talking about his affair and how their marriage is today. In a new interview with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live," the couple shared some new details about his affair that were never discussed on "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

On Monday night's episode of "WWHL," Shannon revealed that at one point, David left her and her three daughters at the height of his relationship with the other woman.

"When David left me for those two weeks he would still come and pick the kids up from school," she said. Shannon revealed that David handed his wedding ring to their daughter Stella and told her to give it back to her because he didn't want it anymore.

David said he is not proud of his actions, telling Cohen, "It's tough to hear, it's heartbreaking, it really is. What I put her through is really horrific, it was really horrific."

Cohen also gave his take on what David did, saying, "In a galaxy of [expletive] moves, giving the ring to your kid to give to…"

"I agree," said David.

Shannon said that his actions really hurt her, but she wore his wedding ring because she wasn't giving up on their marriage. She also shared that she turned to her faith to help her get through the heartbreaking ordeal.

"I'll tell ya how I got through it: I'd get on my knees and I'd pray to God every day," she said.

On how the affair started, David said that he went on a trip "and one thing led to another and I started having an affair." David's infidelity has been discussed in the current season of the Bravo show, and the father of three admitted that it has been tough for him to watch the show because he knows how much he has hurt his family.

And while the couple is still working on mending their relationship, David said that he believes Shannon has almost fully forgiven him, while Shannon said that what their kids learned from all of it is that their family is worth fighting for.

"We are a cohesive family today, and better than ever," she said.
