This week on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," the ladies welcomed new Housewife Kathryn Edwards to the group and the newcomer got roped into an awkward conversation about O.J. Simpson. Meanwhile, Eileen Davidson confronted Lisa Vanderpump for implying that she had an affair with her now-husband Vincent Van Patten, but during their argument Eileen broke down and revealed something about herself that she had never told anyone else.

Eileen told Lisa that she used to be in an abusive relationship. But instead of being symphathetic, the restaurateur was surprised because Eileen was sharing this information with her so openly, pointing out that Eileen got upset when she mentioned that she had a love affair with Vincent before they got married.

On her Bravo blog, Eileen admitted that she is a physical-abuse survivor and though she considers herself to be a strong woman, being strong does not mean that a woman will not find herself in an abusive situation.

"It can happen to anyone. I know, because I've been in two of them: once when I was a teenager, and again in my 20s," the soap opera star wrote, adding that people might say that she didn't look like the kind of person that this could happen to.

"The truth is, there is no stereotypical victim," she continued.

Eileen said that she was fortunate to leave her abuse in the past, but many people are still being abused to this day.

"If I can say anything to the many women and men out there who think there's no way out, it would be: You are not alone. You can be strong. You can get help. You can leave," Eileen said.

Next week, in the episode titled "Busted BBQ," Lisa Vanderpump takes a tour of the space that her husband Ken wants for a new restaurant, while Eileen flies to Italy to spread her sister's ashes. Kyle Richards hosts a BBQ where the ladies confront each other about different issues. At the party, Kyle and Lisa question Yolanda Foster's claim that her children, Anwar and Bella, also have Lyme disease, while Kathryn confronts Faye Resnick about an old grudge.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
