A crossover is about to take place when "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns for its sixth season. It has been confirmed that New York Housewife Bethenny Frankel will be making a guest appearance on RHOBH and E! News has the scoop on the Skinnygirl mogul's cameo.

"Bethenny filmed a cameo this summer, when several 'RHOBH' cast members were in the Hamptons," an insider told E! "Bethenny has a home there. She and Kyle Richards are old friends so it makes sense for them to see each other."

The source said that the Beverly Hills cast filmed for several days in the Hamptons and that Bethenny had dinner with them.

And while many thought that being with the West Coast Housewives would make Bethenny act differently than when she's around her New York City friends, a second source told the website that she was very much herself.

"She was very direct with everyone," said the source.

Meanwhile, the mother of one said that she enjoyed shooting with the Beverly Hills cast.

"I feel like I was really part of their cast for a small minute," Bethenny told E! She also revealed that she met someone new that she hadn't met before and had a great time with the ladies.

Bethenny said that there was "a little drama" during her time on "RHOBH" and that she was right in the middle of all of it.
"I might have put my foot in my mouth but you know it was funny, it was good," she said.

Filming for "RHOBH" season 6 is underway and it was previously reported that the ladies were spotted filming in Dubai earlier this month. Meanwhile, "The Real Housewives of New York" has also begun filming its eighth season as Bethenny and Carole Radziwill have been spotted filming a scene for the Bravo show last week.

Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 6.
