Kim Fields rose to fame as Tootie on the '70s hit show "The Facts of Life," but now, the star can be seen in the current season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Though the star had a successful TV career and appears to be happy in her family life, it looks like she could use some pointers on making time for herself.

In a preview for the Bravo show's upcoming episode, Kim got some good advice from Phaedra Parks about taking care of herself. In a clip released by People, the 46-year-old said that she was interested in joining the cast of "RHOA" because she hoped that she could make friends. Kim told Phaedra that she didn't have any "hangout girlfriends."

"Now how in the world can you live without a girlfriend?" Phaedra asked. "Who do you tell your secrets to?"

The TV actress also admitted to the lawyer that she does not take the time to pamper herself like some women, who regularly go to salons and spas.

"Why? Are you kidding me?" said Kim. "As long as I don't look or smell homeless, I'm good."

Phaedra seemed to disapprove of this and thought that Kim should take better care of herself.

Later, Kim said that she does not take the time to find happiness for herself and that she lives for her work, her children and her career.

Phaedra told her that when she got married, she did not want to lose herself in her marriage and her children, that's why she gets her nails and hair done every week.

"You gotta get that time," Phaedra urged.

After Phaedra asked if there was anything not related to her family or her career that makes her happy, Kim broke down and said that she "lost herself" and did not know it until Phaedra mentioned it.

It looks like Kim might learn a thing or two from the Housewives about getting some happiness out of activities not involving her family as Phaedra tells her, "We've got to get you some new hobbies."

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
