In the next episode of "The Middle," Axl Heck (Charlie McDermott) and Lexie (Daniella Bobadilla) deal with Axl's sister Sue (Eden Sher) who wants to hang out with them wherever they go.

The promotional pictures for the upcoming installment titled "Halloween VIII: Orson Murder Mystery" was just released recently. It featured Axl and Lexie showing off their Halloween costumes as famous country singers, Johnny and June Carter Cash. They appear in the living room singing in front of Axl's parents Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike (Neil Flynn) who are enjoying their performance. However, Sue makes an appearance and interrupts the singing couple. She is wearing a giant carriage wheel on her face which surprises everyone. It seems Sue wants to be a part of everything they do this Halloween which they are not excited about particularly. The couple evidently wants to have their "alone" time.

Axl and Lexie are shocked at first but try to hide their disappointment from Sue who appears to be having fun showing up wherever they are. It remains to be seen how Axl and Lexie will tell Sue that they want to have time for themselves.

In the last episode, Frankie and Mike finally met Lexie's parents who happened to be rich and had their own lake house. Mike felt jealous of their wealth and did not want to go to their lake house after having been invited. Frankie told him that she was jealous too but channeled her negative feelings by just accepting the rich couple's handouts and enjoying herself.

In the end, Frankie was able to change his mind and he decided to go the lake house and honor the invitation. While there, he obviously enjoyed the outdoors by going fishing.

"The Middle" season 9 episode 4 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
