In the next episode of "The Mick," Mackenzie Murphy (Kaitlin Olson) and the kids go to their great grandmother Rita Pemberton's (Judith Roberts) 100th birthday celebration.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "The Matriarch" was just released recently and showed Murphy together with her nephews Chip (Thomas Barbusca), Ben (Jack Stanton), and niece Sabrina (Sofia Black-D'Elia) in formal attire and attending the kids' great grandma's birthday party at her giant mansion. The kids offer their gifts to the matriarch of the family and appear to be well-behaved. Rita is happy to see them and even squeezes Chip's cheeks with delight. However, Chip does not seem to appreciate it that much. Rita also happens to think that Murphy is a good friend from the past though she may be mistaking her for someone else.

Murphy sees the chance and uses Rita's forgetfulness to her advantage. They are shown together walking out of an establishment. Murphy is carrying a lot of shopping bags which hints that she likely asked Rita to buy some clothes or other things for her. Things seem to be looking good for Murphy as Rita is buying a lot of stuff for her. It remains to be seen how long Murphy's lucky streak will last and if Rita will find out about her scam.

In the Halloween episode, Murphy threw a big party at their burned house where a lot of shenanigans ensued. She impersonated a security officer and drove his police car around the community. A couple of pranksters threw eggs at her but she caught them and made those kids drink a number of raw eggs. Murphy returned to the house where a mini-explosion of fake blood took place.

"The Mick" season 2 episode 6 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 p.m. EST on Fox.
