In the next episode of "The Mick," Mackenzie Murphy (Kaitlin Olson) helps her young nephew Ben Pemberton (Jack Stanton) in his project for the school science fair.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Invention" was just released recently and showed Murphy and Alba (Carla Jimenez) asking Pemberton about his science fair. "Hands-on parenting. First attempt. Take one. Any ideas?" Murphy asks the young kid. In his excitement, he replies, "Toilet pants. A butt you don't have to wipe. A hat you can pee in." All of Pemberton's ideas are toilet-related which Murphy feels will not be allowed in the science fair. Nevertheless, she is determined to help her nephew enter the fair and make a good impression with the teachers. Murphy and Alba are then shown in the school auditorium with all the exhibits but Pemberton's is yet to be revealed.

It seems that Pemberton has been taking medication to keep himself focused on his project but Murphy soon finds out about it. This prompts her all the more to help her nephew because she does not want him to rely on his medication. It remains to be seen if she can successfully help Pemberton create an impressive project.

In the last episode, Murphy and Jimmy (Scott MacArthur) threw a Halloween party at the house where a lot of shenanigans happened. Murphy caged the community's junior policeman and then hijacked his police car. She then impersonated the officer and arrested some kids throwing eggs at her. She told them that if they did not want to get jailed, they had to eat a number of raw eggs. When Murphy returned to the house, it was covered with fake blood which resulted from a mini-explosion.

"The Mick" season 2 episode 5 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
