In the next episode of "The Mayor," Courtney Rose (Brandon Michael Hall) hosts the first annual Halloween celebration at City Hall.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "City Hall-oween" was just released recently and showed the City Hall enjoying a new Halloween makeover with spooky skeletons and other decorations. The outside of the building has a silhouette of fire created by orange lights as people of the community enter the party destination. Everyone is having fun as Courtney is dressed like a huge handphone, Jermaine Leforge (Bernard David Jones) dons a giant fidget-spinner, and T.K. Clifton (Marcel Spears) is dressed like a hashtag sign.

Courtney's mom Dina (Yvette Nicole Brown) gets in on the fun as she pranks Clifton and Leforge in a big way. Dina is sprawled across the floor and pretends to be shot in the head. When Clifton and Leforge enter the room, they scream and get a big fright. Dina then reveals to them that it was just a silly prank which infuriates them to no end.

In the last episode, the music program was on the brink of getting removed until Mayor Rose found a way to get the council to decide on its continuation. Rose discovered that the musical instruments that the kids were playing were getting old and some were falling apart. He decided to let the kids play those instruments in front of the city council as they were deciding on the city's budget.

The performance was captured on video by a number of people and streamed on the internet. Viewers were touched by the performance and rallied behind the kids to have the council continue the music program. which they eventually did.

"The Mayor" season 1 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
