Nintendo officially released the details of the first DLC pack of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Expansion Pass.

On the game's official website, Nintendo reveals that the first DLC, titled "The Master Trials," will feature several new modes and tools, as well as a number of bonus armors that are inspired from the previous "The Legends of Zelda" installments. These include Majora's Mask, the Phantom Armor, Tingle's Outfit, and Midna's Helmet.

The upcoming DLC will also introduce a new challenge called the "Trial of the Sword." This challenge will require Link to face wave after wave of enemies without using any weapons or equipment. He can only proceed to the next challenge if he manages to defeat every single enemy in the room. After all the trials are cleared, the power of the Master Sword will be activated and the sword will remain in its glowing state, while its power is still useable.

Also, the game's first expansion pack will come out with a new map feature that can show the way where Link traveled throughout Hyrule, which was recorded during the past 200 hours of the game. This feature can be used to determine how much time the player spends in the area and which part they have yet to discover.

The Hard Mode is also coming out in the new DLC. This will allow enemies to regain their health gradually, which means players must quickly defeat them as soon as possible. According to the game developer, "Enemies can also have higher maximum levels than they would in Normal mode. Look up, and you may also find enemies and treasure chests in the sky!"

Reports also claim that the game developer mentions the new DLC will come with a travel medallion that players can use when registering their location as a fast travel point on the game's map.

There are no reports yet regarding the first "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" DLC's official release date, but Nintendo is expected to release the upcoming DLC in summer.
