'The Good Wife' season 7 spoilers: Eli and Ruth worry about Alicia's relationship with Jason in episode 9

Juliana Margulies as Alicia Florick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Jason Crouse on The Good Wife CBS.com

Next Sunday on "The Good Wife," Alicia (Juliana Margulies) will be teaming up with a familiar face as she tries to get more clients and high profile cases into the firm. But Alicia's personal life will also be under scrutiny as the people around her and also those who are handling Peter's (Chris Noth) presidential campaign question her relationship with Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

According to the synopsis for episode 9 titled "Discovery," Alicia and Lucca team up with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) to defend a website against an accusation of racial profiling. Meanwhile, Eli and Ruth worry about the nature of Alicia's relationship with Jason and how it could affect Peter's presidential campaign.

In the teaser clip for the episode airing Nov. 29, Alicia and Jason are seen flirting with each other, and Eli (Alan Cumming) confronts Jason and asks him, "She's getting close to you, isn't she?"

"I think these are questions for Alicia," Jason drawls.

Eli isn't having it and moves closer to Jason as he angrily tells him, "Her husband is running for president."

Alicia doesn't look happy as Eli tries to reason with her, and she tells him, "You're telling me when I sleep with Jason, you'd rather I'd keep it private?"

Eli looks stunned as he laughs nervously and asks her, "You're joking, right?" Alicia gives him a steely look, letting Eli know that she's dead serious.

Will Alicia and Jason give in to their feelings and decide to be together? Speaking with TVGuide, Morgan talked about the ongoing flirtation between the two and said that they will continue to sort out their feelings for each other.

"I think these two are doing a little dance around each other and that's not really over yet," said Morgan.

On the pair's future, the actor said that he doesn't know what's in store for Alicia and Jason as show creators Robert and Michelle King have not told him anything. But the actor revealed that "there's some interesting stuff" coming up for the two and it all stems from the fact that they are attracted to each other.

"The Good Wife" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
