In the next episode of "The Gifted," Agent Jace Turner (Coby Bell) tries to extract information from Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer) on the location of the Mutant Underground.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "rX," was released recently and showed Turner questioning Reed at a secret Sentinel Services location. "Tell me how to find the Mutant Underground. Your family's future depends on it," Turner threatens the captured Reed who just looks down at the table.

Meanwhile, Reed's wife Kate Strucker (Amy Acker) tells her mutant kids Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind) and Andy (Percy Hynes White) that they will find their imprisoned father no matter what it takes. In a later scene, Kate urges her children, "You have to go now." However, Lauren tells her mom that they are not going to leave her. It appears that the Sentinels have found their location and are close to capturing them.

At the Sentinel Services prison, it appears that Reed and Lorna Dane (Emma Dumont) are now locked away together. "Things have happened that you don't know about. We need to stick together," Reed advises Dane.

In the last episode, Reed was the one who prosecuted Dane's case and put the mutant in prison. However, it turned out that his children were also powered mutants which made them a target by Sentinel Services. Turner went to the Strucker household to detain Lauren and Andy but was stopped by their mother. They managed to evade the authorities by using Lauren's force field abilities.

The family sought the help of the Mutant Underground to take them to safety but Reed got captured as they tried to escape. His wife and kids were able to slip past the Sentinels. It remains to be seen if the family will get reunited in the future.

"The Gifted" season 1 episode 2 will air on Monday, Oct. 9 at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
