In the next episode of "The Flash," Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) comes across his old nemesis who happens to have strange stretching abilities.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Elongated Journey Into Night" was just recently released and showed Ralph Dibny a.k.a. Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) hanging upside-down and about to be thrown off the top of a building by two thugs. Apparently, he used to be a dirty cop and a past acquaintance of Allen. "You were dirty then and you're dirty now," the speedster tells Dibny. However, the ex-cop ends up in Team Flash's headquarters and appears to have powers that allow his body's limbs to stretch. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) pulls on his hand which suddenly stretches to the shock of the whole team.

"Your Star Labs nerds better put me back together!" Dibny warns Allen who cannot believe his eyes. The Elongated Man's hand falls to the floor as he tries to bring it back to normal length. It remains to be seen if Allen and his team will be able to turn Dibny back to normal or if he has to embrace his new superhuman powers. The villain Breacher (Danny Trejo) makes an appearance in the upcoming episode, who happens to be Gypsy's (Jessica Camacho) father.

In the previous episode, Allen, Snow, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Dr. Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh), and the rest of the team managed to capture Becky Sharpe a.k.a. Hazard (Sugar Lyn Beard) who created a big mess in Central City. Hazard had a powerfully high probability of winning or getting lucky. However, all those around her would experience bad luck and get into accidents. Allen and the team were able to contain her probability field and finally captured her.

"The Flash" season 4 episode 4 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW.
