The Continued Story of Spain Bomb Attack

As the bomb attack in Spain has already happened for five days, the emotion of people now starts to cool down gradually. However, it still has a long way to the end of the story when investigation goes deeper and the atmosphere of opinions is enriched everyday.

Actually, the underlying reason behind the bomb attack in Spain remains uncertain. Spanish authorities at first blamed the Basque separatist movement ETA for the bombings which has certainly links with Islamic terrorist groups. Philippe Sebille, an analyst and consultant in geopolitics at Geopolia said since 911 and war in Iraq, terrorism has become the threats for the whole world.

The issue is complicated in nature that it touches many fields ranging from politics to religion. Now, the "London next" rumor is ringing in the ears. Socialist, politician and religious workers get ready to see the second part of the story. Though, it will be again a nightmare for most of the people.

On the other hand, religious experts estimate that around 15 percent of Britain's two million Muslims are radical. Their visions are really revolutionary- to become the worldwide domination. Many of them see the conversion of Britain and the United States to Islam as the key for the success.

Since 1993, speaker's Corner in central London has become a battlefield between Islamic extremists and Christian evangelists. Every Sunday afternoon, believers of both faiths have debate. From this place, the fundamentalist Muslims, who are trained to attack Christianity, win converts.

In the social aspect, the British Muslims experience cases of religious discrimination in UK on the rise for many years. Some examples like they were rejected from interview because of their religious dress; some students who were weak in English were forced to dismiss from school instead of receiving further guidance. Anger was stirred up within the minorities.

Britain Foreign Secretary, John Straw, insists that the country is not a bigger target for international terrorism. However, there remains some anxieties in people's hearts.

In the sorrow to the victims in the bomb attacks, the only hope in the heart of people, including people in U.K. is peace.
