Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Joe Giudice will be filming a special episode for Bravo. Now, it has been reported that his wife Teresa, a star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," will also be featured in the reality special.

According to E! News, fans will be able to hear Teresa but not see her on camera. The website has confirmed that the show will feature some of her conversations with Joe and their daughters Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5.

"Viewers will hear her checking in and talking to her family," a Bravo source told E! News.

TMZ also reports that while the network couldn't get cameras into the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, Bravo will feature the 43-year old via jail telephone on the two-part special. The website claims that the network will have no problem paying the "Real Housewives" star for her participation because the "Son of Sam" law — which prohibits people from profiting off certain crimes — only applies to violent offenses.

The special, which started filming in June, is slated to air later this year.

The reality star has been serving time since January 2015, and Joe is scheduled to turn himself in for his 41-month prison sentence shortly after his wife is released. The Giudices pleaded guilty in March 2014 to hiding assets from bankruptcy creditors and submitting falsified loan applications to get an estimated amount of $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe also pleaded guilty to failing to pay taxes totaling more than $200,000.

Apart from being featured on Joe's special, Teresa is also set to release a memoir of what her life is really like behind bars. Earlier this month, Us Weekly released excerpts from the cookbook author's diary in which she detailed her day-to-day life behind bars. The magazine also claimed that Teresa will be back on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" next season, and her exit from jail in December will reportedly be filmed for the show.
