Eighteen-year-old actor Froy Gutierrez was tapped to portray a mysterious character in the final half of "Teen Wolf" season 6.

The new actor, who will also appear in the upcoming film "A Cowgirl's Story," will reportedly play the role of a new character named Nolan. According to Gutierrez, his character will mix in with other characters and the overall plot of the series.

"I think the audience is going to be in for quite a little surprise with him. You're going to see something a bit more gritty, a bit more real, and a bit more ugly this season," the actor stated in an interview with Hollywood Life. "It'll be very interesting for sure."

He also mentioned that he was present on the set of the series' last day of filming, and claimed that he was very emotional to say good-bye to his character, as well as to the people who he got to work with for several months.

Also, Gutierrez talked about the constant comparison between his looks and those of co-star Dylan Sprayberry.

"I remember when I first announced I was on Teen Wolf, everyone was posting these picture comparisons of me, Dylan Sprayberry, and the guy that plays Isaac [Daniel Sharman] on the show. It was a bit of a trip. It's funny because you'll probably see Nolan interact with Dylan in 6B," he stated.

Meanwhile, speculations claim that Crystal Reed will reprise her role as Allison Argent in the remaining episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 6. The rumors surfaced after the actress was seen at the show's wrap party on March 19.

However, executive producer Jeff Davis did not mention Reed's name when he talked about the list of characters who will make a comeback in the upcoming episodes in February 2017 in an interview with TVLine. During that time, the executive producer hinted that Scott's (Tyler Posey) father, Rafe McCall (Matthew Del Negro), will return on the show's next episodes.

MTV has yet to confirm the return of "Teen Wolf" season 6 later this year.
