Along with an up-and-coming album, Taylor Swift is ready to hit the road again. Several dates corresponding to Swift's live performances for this year have been announced, which will follow the release of the singer's new album. Although these are not tour dates, the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer said that she will still have a tour for "Reputation."
Swift recently scheduled two concert dates for the month of December, one for radio station 99.7 Now's Poptopia festival in San Jose, California on Dec. 2 and the other for the B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago on Dec. 7.
Since these are most likely live, small venue performances and not big full arena concerts, they would probably be short and Swift will include a small part of her setlist.
Just like in her other performances, these concert dates will mostly target her teen fans and those who follow multi-act radio station holiday shows. These concerts have also featured pop artists like Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Backstreet Boys and Khalid.
These will be Swift's first live performances since she appeared in a special Super Bowl week event in Houston, Texas last February. This also marks the singer's first concert after the release of "Reputation," her sixth studio production which will drop on Nov. 10.
Swift's representatives have confirmed the dates of the live performances. However, the singer's camp did not reveal or hint any other details regarding the time frame for a full tour.
The singer previously said that she was going to have only one tour date this year. With the recent announcement about her two scheduled performances, Swift is giving her fans an extra treat by having two more scheduled performances.
The country singer-turned-pop superstar has been uncharacteristically quiet after releasing two singles last summer, "Look What You Made Me Do" and "Ready For It." Details about her soon-to-be-released album are also being tightly guarded leading up to its scheduled launch.
Journalists who secured passes to write early reviews of Swift's new album have been required to listen through earphones on locked iPads under the watchful eye of Swift's security team.
"Reputation" follows Swift's biggest album sale "1989." There is a three-year gap between the two, which is the longest break between album launches for Swift.
