Taylor Swift's new and upcoming album is swiftly becoming a new sensation, as her new song, "Gorgeous," for the album "Reputation," has just tied with Rihanna's for most digital song sales.

Swift and Rihanna are now at the top spot for the most digital song sales following the debut of the former's third song. According to Nielsen Music, the song, since its release, has gotten 68,000 paid downloads at the end of Oct. 26. Additionally, "Gorgeous" had soared into the No. 13 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 list but ultimately fell off and got replaced by "Look What You Made Me Do," also one of her songs, currently at No. 10.

One of her other songs, "Ready For It," also came in currently at No. 52 on the list of Billboard. This gives her upcoming album a strong start, with two of her previous songs also getting significant and comparable commercial success.

The rest of the songs in Swift's album will be released officially on Nov. 10. Afterward, the singer will then make a guest appearance on the set of "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) on Nov. 11. Lots of fans, as well as "SNL" viewers, are excited for this as Swift's last appearance on the show was back in 2009, and her popularity and status has since grown exponentially, along with her music style and range.

Whether Swift will use the opportunity to feature one of her new songs included in "Reputation" remains to be seen, but she is set to perform two songs in the weekly comedy show. This is one of the big reveals that Swift's fans may be waiting for as the singer has yet to make any public appearance for her new album.

Rest assured, Swift's songs are a huge hit, as confirmed by some of her own popular singer friends like Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez.

"It's really cool to surround yourself with people and be involved with people who are inspiring and changing the way that they dictate what they love, whether it's acting or music. And she's one of those people who will continue to do that," says Gomez. Sheeran, likewise, thought Swift's songs were great.

Swift's new album, "Reputation" will be released on Friday, Nov. 10. Her appearance on "SNL" will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.
