"Supergirl" is off to a great start as its pilot last Monday went on to become fall's most watched series launch, and fans can't wait to see what's in store for Kara/ Supergirl (Melissa Benoit) in the second episode of the series.

According to the synopsis for episode 2 titled "Stronger Together," Kara questions her abilities as a superhero at first, but then a threat to National City forces her to put her doubts aside in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison Fort Rozz. Meanwhile, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an exclusive interview with Supergirl.

TVLine has the scoop on the episode and according to the website, the hour will pick up one week after Supergirl made her presence known to the world. Kara will attempt to take on a whole lot more as she tries to help out as many people as she can, but this will only draw unfavorable comparisons to her cousin, Superman. Clark Kent will also be mentioned next week, as well as his girlfriend Lois Lane, which will set up the debut of Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lois' sister Lucy Lane.

While Supergirl fought her first bad guy, an alien named Vartox last week, next week's villain will have a personal agenda, and the character will give viewers more insight about the Fort Rozz escapees, including General Astra.
In the promo clip for the episode, Supergirl is seen flying from one disaster to another as she rescues people, and she does so with much enthusiasm. However, Cat wants to write an expose on Supergirl, and when Kara nervously asks her if she's really writing it herself, Cat shrugs and reminds her that she is a writer.

"It's like riding a bike or severe childhood trauma…you never really lose it," said Cat.

Lucy also appears in the clip, and James, her ex, tells Kara that there was a time when he would have done anything for Lucy, but she dumped him.

Alex tells Kara that she may know how to fight, but they should always know who their enemies are so they can
prepare. Later, a woman punches Supergirl, and the impact knocks through several walls.

"It's been a long time little one," says the woman.

Supergirl looks at her and says, "Aunt Astra?"

"Supergirl" airs on Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.
