Fans of "Stranger Things" better get their Kleenex rolls out, as Hopper (David Harbour) and El/Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) father-daughter relationship turns even more bittersweet, as was shown in the deleted scenes of season 2.

The season finale sees the disheveled police chief Hopper lending his deceased daughter's hairband to El during her attendance at the Snow Ball, a school dance annually held at the Hawkins Middle School in the show. This meant that Hopper has finally accepted El as the replacement for his late daughter Sara, and he has even gone out of his way to ensure that that one night for El would be trouble-free, convincing the people who hunt El for her powers to just let her go.

However, one important detail was cut out of that episode. Apparently, the normally laid-back and casual Hopper was wearing a coat and tie when he brought El to the Snow Ball. Some fan actually took a photo of Harbour wearing the tie on-set and leaked it to Twitter.

Addressing the leak, Harbour responded, "Someone caught me in an off-camera thing and I have a tie on. The idea was perhaps that Hopper even puts on a tie for the first time in 20 years to bring his adopted daughter to this dance. So I think Hopper put a lot of effort and work into it." Harbour also revealed that the tie was his idea for the character to show how much he cared for his adopted daughter.

It is worth noting that Hopper's usual demeanor in the show highlights that he stopped caring about his personal appearance and lifestyle since his original daughter's passing. As such, changing this mindset just for El is something fans might find very heartwarming. Sadly, it did not make it to the final cut for unknown reasons, though Harbour was somewhat glad the Duffer brothers excluded it, much to some of the fans' chagrin.

Still, some are hopeful that Hopper will display the same amount of affection come season 3 of "Stranger Things," which is already in the works.
