'Stranger Things' news: Actress Millie Bobby Brown gets stuck on an island due to Bali volcano

It seems Millie Bobby Brown is not able to channel her powers as Eleven, as the 'Stranger Things' actress got stranded on an island in Bali, Indonesia due to a volcanic eruption.

The 13-year old actress' vacation in Bali, Indonesia has been prolonged due to a volcanic activity of Mount Agung. The said volcanic eruption took place slowly during the course of a week, which unfortunately coincided with Brown's vacation, stranding her along with thousands of other tourists.

The said island in Bali is now under full lockdown after the volcanic activity. Entry is now prohibited to ensure the safety of potential tourists. Meanwhile, Brown, despite being stuck in the volcanic island, is enjoying her impromptu stay. She explained to fans that it was supposed to be a 10-day vacation coming from Australia.

The young actress has taken to meditation recently and even posted her activities to social media, where she also stated, "I would really love to thank all of the staff at the @themuliabali for taking such good care of us while having to extend our stay here; I cannot thank you enough! Also, to the Balinese people who are the sweetest, kindest and most humble people I've ever met. But most of all, my thoughts and prayers are with the people whose lives have been affected by this. I truly hope everyone there stays safe."

Rest assured, the actress is having a blast in the volcanic island, albeit a peaceful one in the gardens of the resort that accommodated her in Bali. She also became fond of the Indonesian resort staff and even took pictures with them during her rest and recreation.

Those worried about the people and tourists in Bali during the holidays can rest assured as the airport has reopened on Wednesday, letting thousands of visitors leave the island along with Brown. Afterward, Brown offered a prayer to thousands of people who might have been affected by the volcanic eruption of Mount Agung.
