After it was announced that production for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been completed and it is now in post-production, avid fans have started counting down the days until the movie's premiere. Those who were hoping for some new spoilers went to Hall H during the San Diego Comic-Con to catch a glimpse of the stars and get some new info or imagery, and they were not disappointed when a 3-minute behind-the-scenes footage was shown at the "Star Wars" panel.

Although the reel did show some unfinished footage from the upcoming film, the focus was on the cast and crew as they talked about the importance of "Star Wars" and their feelings working on the set. There was a sense of joy and awe in the video, and each person interviewed looked genuinely happy and excited to be working on the upcoming film.

In the reel, fans got their first glimpse of Simon Pegg in costume and on the set, which confirms the actor's rumored involvement in the film. From the looks of his costume, it appears as though he will be playing an unnamed alien in the film.

"My whole life has led to this moment," said Pegg. "I'm in heaven."

Aside from Pegg's casting, it was also confirmed that Adam Driver will be playing Kylo Ren, the antagonist in "The Force Awakens." The character was first seen in the film's first trailer wielding a crossguard red lightsaber. Another big reveal from the panel was that of Domnhall Gleeson playing General Hux, a character who he said is quite evil.

Meanwhile, cast member John Boyega took to Instagram earlier this week to upload what appears to be another spoiler. The photo shows the actor's character Finn wielding a blaster and standing side by side with Chewbacca. According to Hitfix, the image came from a leaked piece of promo art in the Russian LEGO catalogue, and prior to Boyega's Instagram post, Lucasfilm has reportedly done their best to scrub the image from the Internet.

"Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters on Dec. 18.
