Emma Roberts is returning to "Scream Queens." The show, which wrapped up its first season in December, is set to return for another installment on Fox and will move from a college setting to a hospital.

Speaking with E! Online at the Ralph Lauren Polo presentation at New York Fashion Week on Friday, Feb. 12, the actress confirmed her return to the series, saying, "Yeah, Chanel is back!"

"I'm so excited for season 2 of 'Scream Queens' because I can only imagine what the writers have in store for Chanel," said the 25-year-old.

Back in the season one finale, Chanel, Chanel No. 3 (Billie Lourd) and Chanel No. 5 (Abigail Breslin) were sentenced to a mental hospital while the other co-eds remained in college.

It was previously reported that four original cast members will be returning to the show. Deadline reports that Jamie Lee Curtis is expected to be back, anchoring the franchise just like Jessica Lange did in the first four seasons of "American Horror Story," which is also from "Scream Queens" creator Ryan Murphy. Lea Michele also expressed an interest in returning to the show for its sophomore season.

It was reported that many of the core stars of the series are said to have multi-year deals, so there will be a continuation between seasons just like in Murphy's FX series.

Apart from returning cast members, the new season is expected to feature some fresh faces as well. After the show was picked up for its second season, it was reported that the series will be introducing four new male cast members, who will all play doctors. The doctors are in their late 20s to early 30s and casting search is underway. It is expected that Murphy will be casting some well-known names for the upcoming season.

"I know that if Ryan Murphy does one thing well it's casting amazing, talented, and really hot people," said Roberts. "He always casts the cutest boys!"

A premiere date for season 2 of "Scream Queens" has yet to be announced.
