Fans of Russell Wilson and Ciara have been speculating on when the couple will be getting engaged as rumors claim that the two are definitely thinking about having a life together. The Seahawks quarterback previously said that he sees a future with the singer, and the pair celebrated Christmas together.

Ciara took to Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 26, to share a photo of her hugging the NFL star and captioned it, "Kinda like had the best Christmas ever…Theme: Love, happiness, gratefulness and family. Nothing can amount to the value of those gifts."

Wilson shared the same picture in color and wrote, "Special day with a special lady…@Ciara."

Ciara also shared some pictures of her celebrating the holiday with family members and her son Future Zahid Wilburn. The "Goodies" singer posted a picture of her holding her son and wrote, "Children are a blessing from the Lord; the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalms 127:3."

Sources told E! News that the couple has talked about marriage and having children. An insider told the website that the two "will get engaged one day soon" as they have both openly talked about their future with each other. The source said that the pair believes that they are meant to be together and that they are "in an amazing place now in their relationship."

Ciara and Wilson started dating in April and made their debut as a couple at a White House dinner. Since then, the two have attended many events together, including the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports awards, where the football player was tasked to host the event.

While the two have their fans rooting for their relationship, the couple also has a fair amount of detractors as some Seahawks fans would blame the singer whenever the team lost a game. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Ciara said that the comments are "silly" and that the criticism comes with the territory.

"When people say those types of comments, you know, that's silly," she told the magazine. "It's happened to people in our world…it comes with the territory."
