Russell Wilson and Ciara appear to be going strong and looking happier than ever. They made recent appearances at the ESPY Awards and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards where they surprised fans when they performed the "Whip/ Nae Nae" dance together onstage.

Despite recent comments made by Ciara's ex, Future, about Wilson's involvement with their son's life, a source told E! News that the couple isn't too concerned about what the rapper has to say.

"Ciara was more annoyed with Future's comments than sad or upset," the source told E! News.

The insider added that the singer is doing well now and is very happy, and that she thinks Future needs to "live his life and leave her happy relationship out of it."

Last week, the 31-year old rapper slammed Wilson for spending time with his son, Future Jr. He said in an interview on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" that the NFL star's relationship with his child stepped over the line.

When the subject of Wilson being seen pushing his son's stroller came up, Future said that he wouldn't want anyone pushing his son in the stroller and that if he was in the child's place, he would have jumped out of the stroller and slapped him.

"You never do that in our community. You don't even bring a man around your son. You only know this dude for a few months and you're bringing him around your kid? Who does that?" the rapper continued.

According to E! News' source, the introduction between the NFL player and Future Jr. was done without any ill intentions, and it was important to Ciara that the two meet. The source added that Wilson was not trying to replace the rapper as the little boy's father, and that he was just being "a good guy to both Ciara and baby Future."

Ciara and Wilson's relationship made headlines when the NFL player, who is a devout Christian, revealed during an interview with Pastor Miles McPherson of The Rock Church that they have chosen to remain celibate. In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Ciara confirmed that they have decided not to get intimate, and that it's staying that way unless they get married.

"It's until the deal is sealed. Absolutely," said Ciara.
