Russell Wilson talked about his girlfriend Ciara as he spoke with Rolling Stone magazine for their September 2015 issue. He said that they are a "perfect fit," and that he was destined to be with her. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback also said that meeting the singer was part of God's plan.

"I knew God had brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me and to bless so many people with the impact that she has and I have," said Wilson to the magazine, adding that God has anointed both of them, calling "for us to do something miraculous and special."

Earlier this year, the 26-year-old athlete made headlines when he told Minister Miles McPherson at The Rock Church that he and Ciara decided to practice abstinence and that God told him to "lead her." Rolling Stone reports that at the time, Ciara was at a concert in London and learned through her Twitter feed about what her boyfriend said.

The "Get Up" singer told the magazine that Wilson talking about their choice to abstain was him being "real."

"The thing about Russell is he's real," said Ciara. "And that was a moment that got 'real' real."

She added that they get along so well because they share the same opinion on "pretty much everything." Wilson echoed her sentiment and said that they connect so well and that they have "the same vision."

Meanwhile, a new report claims that the couple is taking the next step in their relationship and that they have reportedly applied for a marriage license. A source told Terez Owens that the two have allegedly applied for a marriage license and that they have purchased a yacht and a house. The singer is reportedly already living in Seattle to be closer to Wilson.

Wilson and Ciara have yet to comment on the report.
