In the next episode of "Riverdale," Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) seeks help from her friends regarding the call she received from the mysterious Black Hood.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "When a Stranger Calls" was just released recently and showed Betty confiding with Archie Andrews (K.J. Apa) about her chilling conversation with the Black Hood. This is the same individual who shot Archie's dad Fred (Luke Perry) and almost killed Moose Mason (Cody Kearsley) and his girlfriend Midge Klump (Emilija Baranac). "I don't like sharing you with other people. Cut them out of your life or I will, my way," the Black Hood says to Betty coldly on the phone. She replies in fear, "Please don't hurt her." It appears the nefarious shooter has a new target in mind and the Riverdale crew needs to protect her at all costs. It remains to be seen who that person is and if Betty and her friends will be able to save her just in time.

Meanwhile, Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) takes matters into his own hands and tries to keep the peace between the Northside and the Southside when Betty's mom Alice (Madchen Amick) publishes a fiery piece about the rampant drug situation in the South. Jones has to try and keep his Riverdale crew from fighting with his Southside school friends.

In the last episode, Andrews took his fight to the South and sprayed the Red Circle logo around the town. He was hoping that it would draw out the Black Hood and meet with him. Andrews then would have a chance to shoot and kill him. However, his plan backfired when he was spotted and reported to the police back in Riverdale.

"Riverdale" season 2 episode 5 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
