In the next episode of "Riverdale," Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) suspects that someone close to the town may be the Black Hood killer.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Tales from the Darkside" was just released recently and showed Cooper talking to her good friend Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes). "I have a feeling about Sheriff Keller [Martin Cummins]," Cooper says to her with concern. Apparently, she thinks that the town's sheriff may be the notorious Black Hood. Keller also happens to be the father of their close friend Kevin (Casey Cott). Therefore Cooper has to tread carefully about her suspicions. Nevertheless, she and Lodge decide to go to the sheriff's house to investigate. They are shown peeping curiously over a corner. Later, Lodge is walking down the stairs to the basement and suddenly sees the sheriff doing something there. Lodge is on her phone and is clearly surprised. It remains to be seen what Keller will do to her.

Meanwhile, Penny Peabody (Brit Morgan) asks Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) to return a favor. Earlier in the series, Peabody helped Jughead by giving him some legal advice on how to free his father FP (Skeet Ulrich) from jail. The kid took her advice and was able to at least reduce his dad's prison sentence. However, Peabody now wants Jughead to help her with something that may be shady in nature.

In the last episode, Jughead and Archie Andrews (K.J.Apa) challenged Malachai (Tommy Martinez), the leader of the Ghoulies, to a drag race. If Malachai won, he could continue selling drugs in the schools. If not, he would leave Southside and let the Serpents rule. However, he was caught by the police during the drag race and sent to prison.

"Riverdale" season 2 episode 7 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
