The drama in "Real Housewives of Orange County" does not get more intense than the Beador couple's split, as the two file for a divorce despite having three daughters.

"After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate. We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters. This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time," Shannon told in an interview. Despite the separation, this indicates that the two ended their relationship calmly and are evidently trying to remain friendly toward each other.

Shannon added that the split was difficult for her and her daughters, but she also had no other choice in the matter as she mostly felt alone in their marriage. She also expressed that she did all that she can to keep her family together; it just so happened that she realized it takes two to do just that. Her husband, unfortunately, was reportedly uncooperative in their partnership to sustain their family. Shannon admitted that she thought at the beginning of their crumbling marriage that the situation would get better but ultimately did not in the end.

The two have been married for 17 years before the separation, and together, they are parents to three daughters, Adeline, Stella, and Sophie, who have also appeared on the show.

Despite her divorce with her husband, Shannon actually had a bit of fun during the weekend. Shannon was spotted celebrating the Los Angeles Dodgers' victory with some of her friends at the Pelican Grill's bar in Orange County last Saturday. On Sunday, she also posted an Instagram photo of her smiling after her makeup was done by her two hair and makeup assistants, Ericka Brannon and Shay Brown, during the show's season 12 reunion taping. Later, she admitted that it had been a very emotional day for her.

Shannon seems to be doing well by herself and has stated that she just needed to focus on herself for happiness and self-fulfillment. She also suggested that she can do this despite the divorce.
