Earlier this month, it was reported that singer Erika Jayne will be joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." While Bravo has been mum about the show's season 6 cast, reports claim that Jayne has already started filming her segments and that she was seen with some of the show's cast members at an event hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. But what does Vanderpump have to say about the casting rumors?

Speaking to People magazine on the red carpet of her charity luncheon benefiting the American Humane Association and the Hero Dog Awards, the reality star said that she likes Jayne "very much," adding that she's a "fun girl with a story to tell."

"I can't tell you whether she's in the cast. If she was in the cast hypothetically, I think she would be a great addition," Vanderpump said.

Jayne is a dance music artist whose 2007 hit, "Rollercoaster," got the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart on that year. Since then, five of her songs have managed to top the Billboard Dance Chart, with one of her latest singles, "Painkillr" making it to the chart last year. Jayne and her husband, lawyer Thomas V. Girardi, are friends with "RHOBH" stars David and Yolanda Foster.

A source told Life & Style that Jayne has signed on as a "full housewife" for season 6 of the Bravo show and that she has already filmed her segment for the start of the reality series.

"Erica is excited to be part of the show," said the insider to the magazine. "She loves that they're going to show both sides of her life…it's going to be a crazy season."

As of the moment, not much is known about Jayne's personal life, but Vanderpump said she would be a great fit because in addition to her being "funny" and "risqué," "she's also got a great head on her shoulders."

Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for season 6 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
