The highly anticipated "Pokemon Stars" game is rumored to be coming out very soon.

The wait for the next "Pokemon" installment began after Nintendo released the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games in November 2016. But both the game distributor and publisher, The Pokemon Company, kept silent about the rumored game's release.

However, new reports claim that the game publisher is planning to make an announcement about "Pokemon Stars" soon. It is even speculated to be unveiled during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 in June.

Speculations about the rumored game's upcoming launch first began when a post on NeoGAF spotted a website with the URL Pokemon.com/hoshi, where the word "hoshi" means "star" in Japanese. However, the said URL now redirects to the main "Pokemon" homepage.

Meanwhile, another post on Reddit from forum member named Dystify claims that the "Pokemon Stars" announcement will happen as early as next week.

The Reddit user posted an image explaining that "Pokemon" traditionally make their big announcements during the month of May. This could be a hint that the company will also take advantage of this month to talk about their next game.

"These are some really interesting facts. It definitely feels like there's a high chance of Pokémon Stars (or whatever they call it) to get announced soon," the Reddit user also states.

Dystify also reveals that hearing the news about "Pokemon Stars" during the E3 2017 event would be highly unlikely, since the game developer normally wants to bring attention to their games. This means it would be impossible for Nintendo to allow its next announcement to be overshadowed by other games during the annual video game trade show.

However, both Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have yet to come out with a confirmation regarding the rumored "Pokemon Stars" game, which means all reports must be taken with a grain of salt.
