The final preparations are currently underway for the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016, but Sony officially revealed what video game enthusiasts should look forward to next week.

The annual event staged by Sony Computer Entertainment for video game fans will start with the PlayStation Showcase at exactly 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. Attendees are advised to line up early to get hold of a spot as the seating space for the showcase will be limited.

Sony also announced that they will feature panels for this year's PlayStation Experience that will be held in Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. It includes a slot for Guerilla Games' "Horizon Zero Dawn," which will be followed by Greg Millay and Colin Moriarty's panel titled "Kinda Funny: PS I Love You XOXO" that will discuss details about the games that will be unveiled during the event. Naughty Dog will also have a panel about the accessibility features of the games. All these panels will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4.

However, Sony opted to keep the other three that will hold their panels on Saturday as a surprise to keep everyone guessing. These panels could be reserved for unexpected announcements from various game developers, such as an unannounced "Uncharted 4" DLC or a sequel for "The Last of Us." However, hints about the said panels remain scarce at this point.

Aside from the panels, attendees of the 2017 PlayStation Experience will be treated to over a hundred playable games during the event. The list includes "Ace Combat 7," "Batman: Arkham VR," "Cosmic Star Heroine," "Destiny: Rise of Iron," "Full Throttle Remastered," "Persona 5," "Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin," "Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif," "Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-wing VR Mission," "The Last Guardian," "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End: Survival," as well as "Yooka-Laylee," among others.

More titles are expected to be added to the list during the actual event.
