PlayStation Essentials sale 2018 news: Big PS4, PS3, and PS Vita game deals

Christmas does not seem to be over yet for PlayStation 4 (PS4) owners, as a plethora of discounts is now available for the said console gamers.

The first one is for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as they will now be able to enjoy substantial discounts for the most modern AAA games today, which is quite difficult to catch with discounts. Most notable discounts are for "Call of Duty: WWII," which has a three-dollar discount with PS Plus, "Destiny 2," also with three-dollars less on its retail price, "Star Wars Battlefront II" with six dollars off, "Battlefield 1: Revolution" also six dollars off, and "The Last of Us: Remastered" with two dollars off.

As for PS3 and last generation games, "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PS3 now only costs $20 instead of $24, "Persona 5" went down to $25 from $30, "Resident Evil 4" is now just $5 from $7, and "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" is now $7.49 down from $10.49, among others.

The full list can be viewed from the PlayStation Store where some games are even discounted as much as 60 percent off their original retail price. Moreover, these big discounts are usually for award-winning games such as "XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition." It is now priced at $32.24 from an original price of $74.99, and it includes all the expansions and downloadable contents (DLCs) of the game.

For those looking to increase their game collection with some of the best deals for PS4, there are also twin bundles which feature two games now discounted for the price of one. Most notable is the "Battlefield 1" and "Titanfall 2" bundle, which is now just $47.99, a 40 percent discount from $79.99.

Those who own PS Vita are also not left out of the discount opportunities, as Sony has handpicked some of the most compelling Vita games with discounts ranging from 40 to 60 percent. These include "Farming Simulator 18" for just $14.99 instead of $29.99, "Muramasa Rebirth Complete Collection" for just $13.99 instead of $34.99, and "Octodad: The Dadliest Catch" for just $5.99 instead of $14.99.

All these and more are available for PS Plus subscribers on all three console platforms.
