'PES 2018' news, update: David Beckham joins roster of Legends in Data Pack 2

The Data Pack 2 for "Pride Evolution Soccer 2018" (PES 2018) will finally arrive on Nov. 16, Thursday, as announced by publisher Konami. One of the highlights of the update is the addition of David Beckham to the roster of Legends.

In addition to several other upgrades and adjustments, fans will be delighted to learn that a handsome face will be greeting them with the arrival of the "PES 2018" Data Pack 2. England's soccer superstar Beckham could very well be a member of one's myClub. The addition of the husband of former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham in "PES 2018" could pave the way to attract more players.

It was first announced in August that Beckham would be joining the "PES 2018." However, fans did not see him in the "PES 2018" Data Pack 1, which was released on Oct. 5. Instead, that update revealed updated faces and photos of 110 players.

The new update will also come with more updated faces of players. Specifically, gamers will see upgrades in the facial features of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Philippe Coutinho, Andre Silva, and more than 1000 other soccer players.

Aside from this, the patch brings two new stages for the game: the Arsenal's Emirates Stadium and the Estadio Nacional de Chile. Players could also use the nine new boots in the upcoming Data Pack 2 for "PES 2018," depending on their preference. Sixty-five licensed kits will be updated in the coming patch as well.

Meanwhile, GameSpot has given "PES 2018" an 8 out of 10 rating. The mentioned that the game is currently the best soccer game on the market.

"When you get onto the pitch, no other football game feels as good as 'PES 2018.' There's just something about the players' movement and the kinds of arcs the ball makes in the air that's just so pleasant to control—every pass, header, and shot just feels right," the outfit said.

"PES 2018" is available to PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC users.
