Since 2009, rumors about the fifth installment of the "Persona" game began circulating online, but it wasn't until 2013 when the game was first announced. Now, a new report claims that more details — and possibly, even a release date— will be announced this month.

According to Design & Trend, more information is set to be revealed at the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia press conference on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The website reports that since a trailer for the upcoming game was shown at last year's conference, there is a chance that a new trailer may be unveiled two weeks from now.

The website also said that there is a possibility that an exact release date may finally be revealed by Atlus. At last year's show, the game developer reportedly gave an update about "Persona 5," and it was announced that the title might get a 2015 release because the RPG was being ported to the PlayStation 4 alongside the PS3 version of the game.

And while fans have been hoping for a PC version, Gamingbolt reports that Atlus has confirmed that the title will not be available for PC. The confirmation was made via Twitter, when Atlus USA's John Hardin responded to a fan's question on whether a PC release was impossible.

Hardin wrote, "depends...do you have ready access to an infinite improbability drive?"

Hardin's response was a reference to the novel "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" wherein the aforementioned fictional device can make people travel at a speed faster than light. And despite fears that the game might get delayed for another year, Hardin reassured fans on the microblogging site and said that the game is "coming out in 2015."

Fans can stay tuned for more "Persona 5" announcements on Sept. 15 as the SCEJA press conference will be livestreamed on Japan's PlayStation Blog on that day, according to Design & Trend. The livestream will reportedly take place at 4 p.m. JST, 12 a.m. PDT, and 3 a.m. EDT on Sept. 15.
