Oppo R11 release date, specs leak news: Leaked renders showcase upcoming device's color variants

More details about the upcoming Oppo R11 started to surface after the device was leaked in a TV commercial.

New reports hint that the upcoming R-series smartphones will come in three different colors based on the leaked renders that made their way to the public. This means that aside from the usual black and gold variants of the upcoming device, there will also be a rose gold variation of the soon-to-be released smartphone.

The leaked render also confirms that the smartphone will have a dual camera setup at the rear portion of the gold variant.

Earlier rumors claimed that the rear cameras will have a main sensor with 16 megapixels, as well as secondary sensor that will feature an 8-megapixel sensor. On the other hand, the device's front-facing device is expected to have at least a 16-megapixel sensor, but it could reach as much as 20 megapixels if the other rumors turn out to be true.

A previous product listing from GFXBench, which uses the product code Oppo R6051, claims that the upcoming device can be considered a midrange smartphone based on its specs.

Some of the features mentioned on the product listing include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 octa-core processor and a 5.5-inch full HD display screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

It will also reportedly come out with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device is also believed to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat upon release.

However, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to confirm if any of the rumored specs will turn out to be true. This could mean the company might be preparing something bigger for the upcoming device, or if they are planning to release a lower-end smartphone compared to the speculated features.

Oppo has yet to announce the actual release date of the upcoming R11 smartphone in the coming days.
