Bobbi Kristina Brown's longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon, broke his silence this week after reports of fighting, lawsuits, and police investigations surrounding the hospitalisation of his girlfriend.

Gordon, speaking through his attorneys, Randy Kessler and Joe Habachy, said that many of the reports are false, and his primary concern is Brown's recovery.

"He remains in constant prayer for his companion, and he hopes to be reunited with her soon,"  the statement read. "Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr Gordon and the family."

Brown was found face-down in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia on January 31. She was revived by CPR, and was placed in a medically-induced coma, where she remains.

Reports say Brown was found by a friend, Max Lomas, and that life-saving measures were begun by Gordon. Brown and Gordon grew up together and went public about their relationship following Whitney Houston's death.

"Mr Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina," the statement emphasised.

The Brown and Houston families have disputed reports that Bobbi Kristina will be taken off of life support, with some family members reporting that the 21-year-old is improving.

THe Brown family has released several statements since Bobbi Kristina's hospitalisation, the most recent of which criticised false media reports.

"The false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false, and will be dealt with at an appropriate time," said her father Bobby Brown.

"We continue to request privacy in this matter," the R&B singer said. "We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers."

Bobbi Kristina's cousin, Shayne Brown, told "Entertainment Tonight" that she is "getting better," and asked fans to "continue to pray" for her.
