Nexus 10 2 to launch at 2014 Consumer Electronic Show?

The latest Nexus 10 2 release date rumors point to the 2014 Consumers Electronics Show, which will be held Jan. 7-10. The International CES is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow held annually in Las Vegas, and is a platform for many new products to launch.

The second-generation Nexus 10 tablet is speculated to be manufactured by LG. A Twitter post by @evleaks stated: "The LG V510 tablet is indeed a Nexus device. [via tip]"

The same tipster also stated that the Nexus 10 2 will be arriving in January, according to a report by States Chronicles. The tip is based on figures received from suppliers of the device's sub-components.

Google's ASUS-manufactured Nexus 7 was released earlier this year and remains popular for those looking for a smaller tablet.

The stock of the 1st generation Nexus 10 have not been replenished by retailers, meaning that the Nexus 10 2 launch may be just around the corner.

Google has yet to release any information on its release.

Many had hoped that the tech giant will launch the device in time for the Black Friday shopping event, but there has been no sign of any launch, leading some to speculate whether the 10-inch Nexus tablet has been scrapped altogether.

Other reports state that Google is concentrating on a Nexus 8 tablet.

The specs for the purported Nexus 10 2 tablet is an HD 10-inch 2650x1600 display with gorilla glass, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera, 9500mAh battery, and a thinner and lighter design from its previous model.
