The antagonist, who first appeared in Marvel Comics' "New Mutants #3," is described as a gigantic evil magical bear who gets his power from negative human emotion. The rest of the possible characters who will be brought to the screen in the "New Mutants" film adaptation include Dani Moonstar/Mirage and Roberto da Costa/Sunspot. The film is expected to begin filming in early 2017 if it will be released in the cinemas by spring 2018.
