'NCIS' Season 15 spoilers: Episode 10 might kill off either Torres or Jack

Two of the most beloved members of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) might actually kick the bucket this coming episode 10.

Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Jack's (Maria Bello) stint in Afghanistan may prove more dangerous than what they can usually handle, and one of them is rumored to die. Episode 10 of "NCIS" season 15, titled "Double Down," sees the NCIS team being employed to escort a U.S. senator during an official visit to the war-torn country.

This leads to Torres and Jack being chosen as the security detail of Senator John Phillips (James Morrison) since their higher-ups are convinced of the two's skills and capabilities. However, nothing went as planned, and the escort mission became compromised, leaving Torres and Jack to fend for themselves while risking their lives to ensure Senator Phillips' safety.

The promo trailer of "Double Down" shows Torres, Jack, and whatever is left of the Senator's convoy being trapped in a cave where they must hide until help arrives. It seems that the enemies are close by and are poised to bomb them wherever they may be hiding. Since they are in a cave, they have nowhere left to retreat to.

This does not mean that the situation is entirely hopeless, however, as Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) is determined to bring back troops alive no matter how hard it may be. He will be doing so with the help of the intelligence in Washington D.C., as well as some of the remaining NCIS members safe in the homeland.

Granted, the enemy ambush might not have happened if not for Senator Phillips' family problems, where his son was involved in a violent quarrel and had to be rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital.

This episode will prove to be even more intense than the previous one since the major characters are at stake and might actually be in grave danger. Fans will have to find out for themselves whether Torres and Jack will survive in Afghanistan once episode 10, "Double Down," airs Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
