This week, in the Thanksgiving episode of "NCIS," Bishop (Emily Wickersham) decided to spend the holiday with her family in Oklahoma after Jake (Jamie Bamber) admitted that he had an affair. Bishop was surprised when Gibbs (Mark Harmon) followed her to lend his support, and throughout the day she struggled with her feelings as both her boss and her mother urged her to deal with the situation and have a serious talk with her husband.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Wickersham talked about what's next for Bishop and Jake and what's in store for the other couples this season.

The actress said that she thinks that Bishop and Jake won't be able to save their marriage.

"I feel like deep down inside, she has made a decision at the end of this episode, and I don't think they'll continue," said Wickersham, adding that it's not just the affair that ruined their relationship, but the fact that their marriage wasn't strong enough to begin with.

Though it looks like this is going to be the end of the couple's marriage, Bishop will be getting a lot of support from the NCIS team. Wickersham said that although the team works well together and they do their jobs day to day, they are there for each other "as family and as friends."

The actress also revealed some spoilers for the rest of the season, and it looks like fans are in for some "fun" scenes featuring Tony and Jeanne, as well as Delilah and McGee.

"There's some fun stuff with Jeanne Benoit coming up with Tony, and the Delilah and McGee stuff," she said.
Wickersham also revealed that Bishop and Jake will be going through a divorce.

"Going through a divorce, and that doesn't just affect Bishop in her relationship," said the actress. "It definitely affects her in her work, everything in her life." Wickersham said that the divorce will take Bishop to some "dark places" and that her character will be dealing with this huge change in her life throughout the current season.

"NCIS" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
