In the next episode of "Mr. Robot," the former interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of E Corp, Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström), makes his return.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "eps3.2_legacy.so" was released just recently and showed Wellick in a remote cabin up in the woods. Apparently, he was instructed to stay there and keep out of sight. It also seems that Irving (Bobby Cannavale) is the one handling him and decides when he can return to the spotlight. Wellick spends his time hiking in the woods and chopping tree trunks. He has grown a beard after staying there for long period of time. However, Wellick has a plan in place as he says to Irving, "We have work to do." It is expected that he will show up once again in Elliot Alderson's life (Rami Malek) and execute his plan.

It is apparent that he still backs Elliot even though he tried to thwart their objective to bring down E Corp last season. "What's going on? Where's Elliot? I will always be loyal to Elliot," Wellick tells Irving with conviction. Wellick shot Elliot last season because he tried to stop the Nine/Five hack from happening. At the time, Elliot was in control instead of Mr. Robot, who was the one Wellick dealt with in their plan.

In the last episode, Elliot got a job at E Corp as a security analyst with Angela Moss's (Portia Doubleday) help. He made sure that the Black Army did not have any way to hack the system and bring down the company. However, Mr. Robot could control Elliot's persona at any point of weakness. Therefore, he needed to take his medicine to make sure that it did not happen.

"Mr. Robot" season 3 episode 3 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 10 p.m. EDT on the USA network.
