In the next episode of "Modern Family," Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) may be undermining Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) in their kitchen renovation project.

New images for the upcoming installment titled "Catch of the Day" were just released recently and showed Mitchell and Cameron exchanging pleasantries and joking with each other in the kitchen. Mitchell appears to be taking a look at Cameron's apron and commenting on it. Cameron does not appear all too pleased and it seems that their conversation may have taken a turn for the worse.

Cameron is then shown talking to his sister Pameron Tucker (Dana Powell) in an uptight manner. It is hinted here that he may be hiding something about their ongoing kitchen renovation. Pameron may know something about it which may not end well considering her vocal and loud nature.

Meanwhile, Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) appears to be confronting his wife Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (Sofia Vergara) and claiming that she was involved in a car accident. Gloria folds her arms and stands her ground against any accusations Jay throws at her. It seems she may have turned the tables at Jay but it remains to be seen how their argument will play out accordingly.

In the previous episode, Mitchell accidentally set their kitchen on fire when he used a faulty blender to make a smoothie. The device started the fire but Cameron did not know about the blender. Mitchell withheld that information so that Cameron would think that it was his fault.

However, Cameron soon found out about the defective blender and that it was Mitchell's doing that started the small fire. To make amends, Mitchell agreed to let Cameron have a say in the kitchen renovation.

"Modern Family" season 9 episode 3 will air on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
