Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is making television rounds after she officially started her reign on Monday, Jan. 4.

The 26-year old won the title last month in a ceremony which continues to be talked about as the show featured a controversial snafu which shocked the world.

Wurtzbach spent her first day working in a whirlwind of interviews starting on "Good Morning America," CNN, "Live with Kelly and Michael," "Access Hollywood," and ABC's "Nightline," and through all her appearances the Filipino model and actress gamely answered questions about the pageant's unconventional ending. She also gave her take on the things that were said after the broadcast ended on NBC.

On the pageant, which aired live on Dec. 20, host Steve Harvey announced that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez won the crown. Gutierrez wore the crown for approximately two minutes before Harvey went back to the stage to announce that Miss Colombia is first runner up and that Miss Universe 2015 is actually Miss Philippines.

In her interviews, Wurtzbach said that she didn't blame anyone for the mix-up and that it took some time for her to realize that she really won the pageant.

Wurtzbach told Kelly Ripa that she even asked her manager if she really won.

"Is this final? Are you going to take the crown from me?" Wurtzbach said, recalling the moment she talked to her manager.

On "Good Morning America," she was asked by Lara Spencer about her take on former Miss Universe pageant owner Donald Trump's post-pageant statement. Trump he said that Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines should share the crown. Gutierrez has said that she agrees with Trump's statement.

"I think it would be a little bit difficult for two girls to share a crown, but I have high hopes that this will give great opportunities for me and for Miss Colombia and for the rest of the contestants," said Wurtzbach.

She said the same thing to Juju Chang on "Nightline," adding that being Miss Universe isn't merely about wearing a crown but "a responsibility."

Wurtzbach also told Spencer that she understands how Gutierrez and her fans feel after the crowning mistake, saying, "If it was the other way around, I'm sure that the Filipinos would be a little bit disappointed with the results."
