Miley Cyrus rumored to be toning down her image for Liam Hemsworth

Earlier this year, it was reported that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have rekindled their relationship as the two were seen spending the New Year holiday in the "Hunger Games" actor's hometown in Australia.

Last month, it was rumored that the couple is engaged again after the "Wrecking Ball" singer posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing her Neil Lane engagement ring, which Hemsworth gave her back in 2012.

While the two have yet to confirm that they are together again, a new report claims that the former Disney star is trying to tone down her image to keep the 26-year-old happy.

"Miley thinks that that in order to keep Liam she has to tone down her image and she has been doing just that," said a source to Radar Online.

However, the insider says that the "Hannah Montana" star's plan to change her image to a less controversial one might not work at all to keep the relationship going.

"Some people around her think Miley is forcing this relationship way too hard and it is not going to last," said the source. "Liam's head is not in this as much as hers is right now."

Meanwhile, a source told People that now that the pair is reportedly back together, Cyrus has been "surprisingly low key" and seems like she is doing all she can to make the actor happy.

Earlier this month, it was rumored that the two might be moving in together after the 23-year-old was seen in Hemsworth's neighborhood while standing near a moving van. TMZ reports that while the two are not sharing a home as of the moment, Cyrus reportedly bought a house for $2.5 million near the actor's Malibu home and that the singer's new place will be her primary address.

The two first got engaged in 2012 after dating for three years, but the couple ended their relationship a year later. Incidentally, Cyrus debuted a more risqué image in the same year, starting with her performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
