The Blade of Galadriel downloadable content (DLC) for "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" has brought into the game a slew of issues and bugs, much to many gamers' frustration. Luckily, the latest update from the developers has addressed most of these glitches.

Developer Monolith has released update 1.11 for "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" with most of its changes and fixes aimed at the Blade of Galadriel DLC. It is worth noting that for PC players, this update is named 1.12 instead of 1.11, though it is basically the same in terms of content.

The said patch fixes one of the biggest issues of players with the DLC, in which finishing the content sometimes led to no rewards. Now, the update has ensured that players will be appropriately recompensed for the time and effort they spent on finishing the DLC's story. Another glaring issue with the DLC was when progression was halted after completion of the Cirith Ungol defense fort mission.

Apart from the game-breaking bugs, another bug that causes Eltariel to be ignored by the Captains if the player failed and retried the fort assault mission in Gorgoroth has been polished. Players will not be able to go about without fearing failure in the said mission. It is worth noting that most of the said issues are present during the gameplay and affects the progression and narrative of the game, hence update 1.11's lack of optimization and user-interface changes. Nevertheless, the update is necessary in order to avoid gameplay and story issues.

There is one issue that was also addressed regarding the game's loading screen in which the players would get stuck with a perpetual loading screen when firing up The Etten quest and would have to force-quit or close the game. This issue has since been addressed by the patch.

The full patch notes can be seen here. The patch consists mostly of solutions for story mission and gameplay problems. The said patch is now available for all platforms of "Middle-earth: Shadow of War."
